My first feature in Thinakaran newspaper on January 29, 2024 is something that makes me incredibly delighted. This achievement serves as a major milestone in both my personal and professional development. Incredibly I am so proud to share it with all of you. I do not want to wonder anymore whether it is hard work and gives us the rewards any moment without a pause.
The Journey: From ICT to LLB to UPBRIGHT
During the interview for Thinakaran, I was able to discuss the ‘e-business journey’ alongside the ‘UPBRIGHT story’ which I am currently pursuing. My fascinating story began with ICT studies and later evolved into my passion for law (LLB). This led to building UPBRIGHT, and I was unknowingly prepared to embrace the vicissitudes of life. This can go on for a while so let it bring you joy.
Every life journey is full of obstacles and to me that is what makes it interesting. Challanges start coming my way the moment I move to start a completely different field let alone starting a business. The appealing part is that each of the challenges, pains, and struggles has made me, me.
UPBRIGHT’s Growth: Making Waves in the Indian Market
Starting from humble beginnings with a small team, UPBRIGHT has made significant progress. We are helping students and entrepreneurs in India gain access to educational tools and business opportunities. Seeing Thinakaran recognize me was very nice, but it pushes me further to do more for UPBRIGHT and my community.
Our success is not a product of luck or any chance circumstances, but rather the result of hard work, determination, and steadfast dedication to our company’s slogan: “Everything Starts From Zero.” We are celebrating what is a testament to the fact that regardless of how small your beginnings are, anything is attainable with grit and consistent efforts.
The Power of Hard Work and Dedication
Getting an article written about me in a respected newspaper like Thinakaran serves as a reminder of what UPBRIGHT and I have had to go through. It also serves to highlight some of the milestones that I have been fortunate enough to achieve during this journey. Achievements such as these help to motivate not just myself, but others to demonstrate that anything can be achieved through will and effort, even if it requires a change in attitude.
My greatest learning from these events has been that attaining dreams is possible, but one has to be ready to work hard to get there. It’s wonderful to have big dreams, and the difference comes in the results of working towards those dreams.
Gratitude and Looking Ahead: A New Chapter Begins
This has only been made possible through my peers who form my team, my mentors and all other people who have believed in me through my life. Thanks to all who have supported me throughout this journey. Their contribution has been immeasurable, and it makes me so thankful that there exists such an incredible community around me.
While celebrating this particular achievement, I want to focus on the fact that this is only the starting point. I am more committed than ever to the purpose of growing UPBRIGHT and creating a more impactful, positive change. This achievement strengthens my resolve to keep advancing, and the possibilities ahead is something I would look forward to.

In as much as I have been featured in Thinakaran and take pride in it, I know fully well that this is not an end. In fact this a success mark, but underneath it lies sleepless nights, grinding effort, adaptability, and the persistence to keep going. Guiding UPBRIGHT towards even more powerful success milestones is the lesson that dreams are attainable with consistent effort through trying times.
